We serve an array of cask-conditioned ales, a great selection of wines and provide a wide range of freshly prepared food everyday.
The Fishermens Rest was originally the Coach House for The Birkdale Palace Hotel, and during the 1930’s and 40’s welcomed stars like Clarke Gable and Frank Sinatra.
We like to think that our style is friendly, relaxed and welcoming. In 2010 we were voted ‘One of The Famous Grouse Top 100 Famous Pubs in Britain’.
We are proud to be part of the Campaign for Real Ales (CAMRA) and we have been awarded as a Licensee of Excellence 2013 and Best Community Pub 2014.
